Project Description
This Saddle River sanctuary blends wellness and artistry in quiet harmony. Magic Landscaping shaped a Zen Wellness Center where water, fire, and foliage move in rhythm, each space designed for peace, connection, and renewal.
A year-round pool, sauna, and cold plunge invite daily restoration. Firelight warms two gathering spaces, one sleek and modern, the other rustic and elemental. Between them, textured decking, stone pathways, and gentle plantings weave together moments of stillness and flow.
A space that feels as good as it looks.
Project Challenges
Magic Landscaping’s challenge was to create a cohesive environment that supported both activity and tranquility. The clients wanted a multi-functional outdoor space that blended the energy of fitness and fire with the stillness of water and greenery.
Integrating multiple structures, a pool, sauna, cold plunge, and dual fire features, required exceptional precision to maintain flow and aesthetic unity. Magic Landscaping addressed grading, drainage, and access concerns with technical finesse, ensuring smooth transitions between distinct outdoor zones while preserving the property’s natural contours.

Cold Plunge Tub and Sauna Pavilion: Private, modern structures that transform outdoor living into a daily ritual of rejuvenation.
Dual Fire Pits: A sleek gas-burning fire pit for entertaining and a wood-burning fire circle with a stone border for quiet reflection in the forested edge of the property.
Layered Plantings: A curated blend of Andromeda, ferns, pulmonaria, hydrangeas, and helicarpa, chosen for texture and year-round calm rather than constant bloom.
Custom Hardscaping: Clean-lined decking and geometric bluestone pathways that frame the soft plant palette, guiding guests through a harmonious sequence of spaces.
Water Features: A subtle bubbling fountain near the pool that adds ambient sound and visual rhythm.
