This serene outdoor transformation in Wyckoff, NJ, was designed to provide a peaceful retreat while enhancing functionality and beauty. The homeowners wanted a space where they could entertain, relax, and escape from the noise of a nearby highway. We designed a multi-functional outdoor living space, featuring a beautiful Unilock patio, firepit, BBQ area, fountain, and lush plantings, all carefully placed to create a seamless flow between gathering spaces and private moments of solitude. A carefully planned Green Giant hedge will mature into a natural sound barrier, ensuring long-term privacy and tranquility.

1. Creating a Functional, Multi-Zoned Space
  The homeowners wanted defined areas for dining, relaxing, and entertaining, requiring a careful balance of hardscape and softscape elements.
2. Minimizing Highway Noise & Enhancing Privacy
  A layered approach using a custom water feature, dense plantings, and a fast-growing Green Giant hedge was implemented to reduce noise pollution and enhance the secluded feel of the space.
3. Ensuring Year-Round Beauty & Low Maintenance
  A thoughtfully curated plant palette was selected for seasonal interest, fragrance, and deer resistance, ensuring vibrant color and texture with minimal upkeep.
