An Invitation to Unwind

Saddle River, NJ

Project Description

This breathtaking transformation reimagines an estate as a true haven for connection and calm, where every space invites time well spent. Working alongside landscape architect Deborah Cerbone, Stonetown Construction, Marson Pools, Jan Fence, and A&C Sprinkler, Magic Landscaping brought a “less is more” vision to life—crafting outdoor rooms that feel effortless, refined, and welcoming. The result is a property that flows seamlessly from poolside gatherings to quiet moments by the pond, surrounded by meadows and woodlands that feel untouched yet beautifully orchestrated.

A landscape designed to be lived in.

Project Challenges

The steep slope and strict setback ordinances made pool placement particularly complex. Magic Landscaping worked closely with partners to construct a freestanding privacy wall and substantial retaining wall, creating a level, tranquil pool setting. An unsightly electrical utility box in the front lawn was transformed through creative regrading and stonework—encircling the structure and reshaping the slope to effectively “erase” it from view. Close collaboration with the utility company ensured proper drainage and function behind the scenes.
